cyclop's team has two maybe and nearly omega level mutants, archangel at his peak is pretty strong, and colossus is a powerhouse. Plus nightcrawler is quick and agile enough to keep bishop, gambit, or cable busy. In terms of sheer power they absolutely overwhelm wolverine's team. That being said storm and jean may be powerful but they are seldom reliable. Iceman rarely applies his powers well, and colossus frequently loses against much weaker opponents on pure skill. Meanwhile wolverine's team brings some of the most ruthless and dedicated tactical minds in the marvel universe. Three of them routinely have plot armor that lets them punch well above their weight class. I still wouldn't say they are likely to win but wouldn't be surprised if they did.
